Recent Updates -
05/22/13 - Updated the Erlanger fire department pages with the new graphics and assignment for the previous Rescue 74. Also, Engine 52 has been updated with a new black cab to match the other apparatus with the new color scheme.
05/08/13 - Updated the photography for several of the apparatus on the Boone County Emergency Management page. Also added the Northern Kentucky Incident Command Unit to the BCEM page since it is currently quartered in Florence.
04/21/13 - Walton received a new McCoy Miller for Ambulance 313 and a new Dodge for Brush 317. The Walton pages have been updated for the new arrivals and subsequent reassignments. Also went through and refreshed photography on the Walton apparatus detail pages and added large images of the medic units.
12/30/12 - Free time over the holidays so a bunch of updates:
Union - New Car 650 and an update of other staff cars.
Campbell County FD1 - Added Car 550 and large images of each of the ambulances.
Camp Springs, Eastern Campbell, Silver Grove - Added new historical pages covering the departments that came together to form Campbell County FD1. The new department pages can be accessed through the site map or through the CCFD1 pages.
12/27/12 - General update of the Airport (CVG) Fire Department including the new Ladder 960 and new apparatus detail pages for Engine 951, Rescue 974, Truck 960 and Unit 999. Also added a comprehensive assortment of historical apparatus.
11/30/12 - Park Hills placed into service Car 147 as an EMT first responder and general staff car. The department page has been updated with the new vehicle plus new detail pages of the historical Engine 1 and Rescue 623.
11/23/12 - Reworked the Edgewood department page to show the previous Edgewood fire stations and added a new page covering the historical Southern Hills apparatus. Also refreshed photography on several of the Edgewood apparatus detail pages.
11/18/12 - General update of Alexandria - added the new Kenworth / Braun ambulance and larger images of each of the squads. Also added new apparatus detail pages for Engine 101, Engine 102 and Truck 110.
10/27/12 - Updated the Point Pleasant department page for the arrival of the new Ladder 1360.
10/05/12 - Erlanger's new Ford / Braun is now in service as Medic 64. The Erlanger department pages have been updated with the new arrival and subsequent reassignments.
08/18/12 - General update of Fort Thomas - added the new Engine 601, larger images of Medic 680 (1999 and 2010) and a new page of historical photos.
07/12/12 - Updated the Ludlow department page for the arrival of the new Engine 201. Also refreshed images on the Engine 201 (1981) and Truck 210 detail pages along with a new historical station photo page.
07/07/12 - Edgewood recently received and placed into service a new Ford / Horton for Ambulance 164. Edgewood also recently restriped their command and support vehicles to reflect the move back to red apparatus. The Edgewood department page has been updated with the new ambulance and the staff vehicle graphics change.
06/28/12 - Union recently placed into service their second new Braun ambulance this year. It was built on a Ford chassis and replaces Squad 665. The previous Squad 665 is now Squad 663 and is a dedicated reserve. The Union department / station pages have been updated to reflect the new arrival and assignments.
04/06/12 - Added a photo of Crescent Springs new rescue pumper to the new deliveries section. It arrived yesterday (4/5) at the station, and will be sent out to get the graphics added next week.
03/11/12 - The Union Fire District sent me some great photos of their new International / Horton assigned to Squad 664, and the department pages have been updated for the new arrival. Also updated the Central Campbell department page with images of the new Ford F-250 assigned to Utility 435.
03/04/12 - Erlanger's new Engine 51 has arrived but is not yet in service. The new arrival marks a change in color scheme for the department with the apparatus now black over lime and support/staff vehicles black over white. Added a preliminary photo of Engine 51 to the new deliveries section - will post a better image once I have it.
02/12/12 - Completely overhauled the links page and expanded coverage to include department web sites and other sites of interest. Also, the new pumper trucks for Erlanger Engine 51 and Fort Thomas Engine 601 have arrived, I am working to get photos and will post once I have them.
01/30/12 - I took a little break on the site over the holidays - the first since I started it, plus I purchased a new computer and it took awhile to get everything up and running. It's good to be back at it and you can expect several department updates in the coming weeks, and hopefully the delayed Crescent Springs and Erlanger trucks will arrive soon. I did catch up with a few newer vehicles placed into service including the Toyota Highlander assigned to Erlanger Medic 98, the Chevrolet assigned to Erlanger Utility 72 and the Ford assigned to Alexandra Car 150 (Fire Chief).
11/20/11 - Added several apparatus to the Verona department page and a detail page for Tanker 870.
11/12/11 - Campbell County Fire District 1 has shifted around several apparatus and the department / station pages have been updated with the new assignments. Also added apparatus detail pages for Engine 503 and Tankers 532 and 533.
