09/23 - Florence placed into service a pair of new Ford / Horton ambulances with Squad 32 & Squad 33.
The 2021 Ford / Horton previously assigned to Squad 33 has been reassigned to Squad 34.

08/23 - Florence broke ground for a new, fourth fire station to be located on Dream Street.

07/23 - Florence took delivery of a new E-One pumper truck for Engine 34. This unit will not be staffed until the new Station 34 is built.

05/22 - Florence received a a new Ford / Horton ambulance for Squad 31.  The 2017 Ford / McCoy Miller previously assigned to Squad 31 is now a reserve aambulance.

09/21 - Fkorence placed into service a new E-One quint with Engine 32.  Their previous apparatus, a 2010 Ferrara quint has been reassigned to Reserve Engine 34.

07/21 - Florence received a a new Ford / Horton ambulance for Squad 33.  The 2015 Ford / McCoy Miller previously assigned to Squad 33 is now a reserve apparatus.

02/21 - Engine 31 placed into service a new E-One pumper truck. Their previous apparatus, a 2015 E-One, is now assigned to reserve Engine 34.

02/20 - Florence received a new E-One pumper truck for Engine 33.  The 2007 Ferrara previously assigned to this company has been retired.

06/19 - A new Ford / Horton ambulance was placed into service with Squad 114.  The 2017 Ford / McCoy Miller ambulance previously operated by Squad 114 has been reassigned to Squad 113.

03/17 - A new Ford / McCoy Miller ambulance was placed into service with Squad 114.   

10/15 - Florence received a new E-One pumper truck for Engine 101.  The new apparatus marked a change in color scheme to silver over red instead of white over red.

07/14 - Florence opened a new firehouse for Station 3 on Ted Bushelmand Drive. 

Changes made as a result of the new station opening - the previous Station 3 located on Weaver Road became Station 1.  The original Station 1 on Main Street was retired.

Engine 103 and Squad 115 were relocated to the new Station 3.  Engine 101 was relocated to Station 1 on Weaver Road.  Squad 113 was established as a third medic unit with a 2014 Ford / McCoy Miller ambulance. 

12/10 - Florence placed into service a 2010 Toyota Tundra as Utility 117.  Florence won the truck in promotion conducted by the Northern Kentucky Toyota dealers and the Cincinnati Reds.

07/10 - Florence has placed a new Ferrara quint in service with Engine 102.  The 2000 Seagrave previously assigned to Engine 102 is now a reserve apparatus.

03/10 - Florence currently has a new quint on order with Ferrara for Engine 102.  Delivery is expected sometime in Aug - Sept.

10/09 - Florence has received a new Chevrolet / McCoy Miller ambulance for Squad 115.

06/09 - Florence has upgraded their ISO rating to Class 2.

07/07 - Florence has placed into service a new Ferrara rescue pumper for Engine 103.
