Recent Updates -

11/18/23 - Lots of activity with Florence in the past couple of months - broke ground on a fourth fire station, received a new E-One pumper truck for Engine 34 and two new Ford / Horton ambulances for Squad 32 and Squad 33.  A new page has been added for the under construction Station 34, and the department pages have been updated with the new arrivals.

11/11/23 - Updated Taylor Mill with the new E-One pumper truck placed into service with Engine 801.  The 2005 American LaFrance previously assigned to Engine 801 is now Engine 802, and the 1996 HME / Ferrara assigned to Engine 802 has been retired.

11/04/23 - Updated Edgewood with the pair of new vehicles recently placed into service - an E-One pumper truck with Engine 152 and a Ford / Horton ambulance.  Also updated the page with subsequent retirements and reassignments.

10/27/23 - Updated Independence with the new E-One quint placed into service with Truck 460, and it is  housed at Station 1.  With the new arrival the 2022 E-One assigned to Engine 451 has been relocated to Station 3 and is running as Engine 453.

12/05/22 - Updated Independence with the 2022 E-One pumper truck placed into service with Engine 451.  Also updated several other apparatus and station photos.

12/01/22 - Updated the Crescent Springs - Villa Hills department page with the 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe placed into service with Car 526, and subsequent staff car reassignments.

11/19/22 - Updated Taylor Mill with the 2021 Ford Expedition assigned to Car 825 and some other general department updates.

11/12/22 - Updated the Southgate page with the new 2022 Rosenbauer Commander placed into service with Engine 1301. Also updated the page with the Ford / Horton ambulance received earlier this year for Southgate - Wilder EMS.

10/05/22 - Updated Hebron with the pair of new Dodge / Braun ambulances placed into service with Squad 41 and Squad 42

08/27/22 - Updated Florence with the new Ford / Horton ambulance received for Squad 31.

08/20/22 - General update of Bellevue-Dayton including the 2021 remount ambulance placed into service with Medic 280. 

05/08/22 - Updated Park Hills with the 2003 Seagrave purchased from Mariemont (OH) for Engine 601.

04/03/22 - Updated Fort Wright with the 2010 International / Horton for Ambulance 764 that was purchased from Fort Thomas.

03/27/22 - Updated Union with the pair of new E-One pumper trucks assigned to Engine 71 and Engine 72.

03/20/22 - Updated Burlington with the new Freightliner / Summit water tanker recently placed into service.

03/11/22 - Updated Crescent Springs with the 2021 Ford / Horton ambulance assigned to Medic 514.

12/10/21 - Updated Covington for the new 2021 Ford
F-250 assigned to Car 6.  Updated Hebron with the new 2021 Dodge Ram 3500 assigned to Utility 42.

12/08/21 - Updated Florence with the new Ford / Horton ambulance assigned to Squad 33.  Also updated Florence for the changes in reserve apparatus:

- The 2015 E-One is now reserve Engine 35 at Stn 33.
- The 2010 Ferrara is now reserve Engine 34 at Stn 31
- The 2015 Ford / McCoy Miller is a reserve ambulance    located at Station 33.
- The 2012 and 2014 Ford / McCoy Miller ambulances are both reserve units located at Station 32.

11/20/21 - Updated Florence Station 32 with the new E-One quint recently placed into service with Engine 32.

09/02/21 - Updated Fort Mitchell for the new Ford / Horton ambulance placed into service with Medic 714 in July. Also updated the page with the pair of Dodge Durangos received for Car 725 and Car 728 along with the Honda ATV received earlier this year.

07/18/21 - Updated Elsmere with the new Ford / Horton ambulance placed into service with Medic 415 in June.

07/10/21 - Updated Central Campbell with the new Ford / Braun ambulance assigned to Medic 481.

04/25/21 - Updated Covington for the 2020 Ford / Demers placed into service with Ambulance 3 and Ambulance 4.  Also added Zodiac 1 and updated the command / staff cars for 2019 & 2020 purchases.

04/16/21 - Updated Edgewood for the new 2021 Ford / Horton placed into service with Ambulance 164.  Also updated Alexandria and Southgate with some newer command / staff vehicles and vehicle reassignments.

04/09/21 - Updated Florence with the new Engine 31 pictured above.  Also updated Florence for the 2020      E-One placed into service last year with Engine 33 and the 2019 Ford / Horton received for Squad 32. Also updated the other active apparatus with the department renumbering.

03/20/21 - Wilder moved into their new fire station in November of 2020.  The two previous fire stations have been closed and combined into the new facility.  The Wilder department pages have been updated with the facility changes and added a photo of the 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe assigned to Car 1450 - Fire Chief.

03/11/21 - Updated the Point Pleasant department page for the 2020 Ford / Medix ambulance received in November for Squad 61.  Also updated the other active apparatus with the department renumbering.

02/28/21 - In addition to receiving a new ladder truck and 3 new staff cars in 2020, Hebron also renumbered all of their apparatus with the new Boone County scheme.  The Hebron department / station pages have been updated with all of the changes.

02/20/21 - Updated Newport with the 2020 Pierce Enforcer placed into service with Engine 901, and the reassignment of the 1996 Spartan / Ferrara to reserve Engine 902.  Also added the Ford / Horton ambulance received in late 2018 for Medic 982 and subsequent reassignment of the 2006 Ford / Horton to reserve Medic 980.

02/14/21 - Fort Wright received a couple of new apparatus in 2020, they purchased a  2012 Sutphen pumper truck for Engine 751 from Erlanger and a 2020 Chevrolet / Horton for Ambulance 763,  The Fort Wright page has been updated with the new arrivals and the subsequent apparatus reassignments / retirements.

02/07/21 - Updated Erlanger for the Ford / Braun placed into service with Medic 64 in September of 2020, and the subsequent reassignments.  The 2015 Ford / Braun is now Medic 63 and the 2012 Ford / Braun is now Reserve Medic 65.  Also updated the station pages for the pair of E-One pumper trucks received in 2019 for Engine 51 and Engine 53. 

01/30/21 - Updated Edgewood for the 2020 Ford F-250 purchased for Utility 181.  Also updated the other command / staff cars.

01/24/21 - Updated the Fort Mitchell page for the new Pierce quint placed into service with Truck 710.  Also added the new 2020 Ford F-250 / Knapheide for Utility 749 and updated all of the command / staff cars.

01/18/21 - All of the departments in Boone County moved to a new station / apparatus numbering scheme in 2020.
This opened up the 700 range previously assigned to Burlington, so Fort Mitchell in Kenton County also renumbered to eliminate overlap with Covington.  The Apparatus / Dept Number page has been updated with all of the changes.











Future & New Deliveries Update for 2023 / 2024

Alexandria - Ordered a new Pierce Enforcer ladder truck with a 107' Ascendant aerial on a single rear axle.  Delivery not expected to be until 2024.

Edgewood - Placed into service a pair of new vehicles - an E-One pumper truck with Engine 152 and a Ford / Horton ambulance.

Fort Thomas - Ordered a new Pierce Enforcer quint with a 107' Ascendant aerial on a single rear axle.  Delivery not expected to be until 2024.

Florence - Received a new E-One pumper truck for Engine 34 and a pair of new Ford / Horton ambulances for Squad 32 and Squad 33.

Hebron - Received in September of 2022 a pair of new Dodge / Braun ambulances for Squad 41 and Squad 42.

Independence - Placed into service a new E-One quint on a Typhoon chassis with Truck 460.

Taylor Mill - Placed into service a new E-One pumper truck with Engine 801.
