Located in the southern end of Boone County, this combination professional/volunteer department currently operates out of two stations. The department protects over 12,000 citizens within this primarily residential community along with a busy section of I-75 / I-71.

04/13 - Walton has taken delivery of a new McCoy Miller for Ambulance 313 and a new Dodge for Brush 317.
06/10 - Hebron's Haz Mat 373 has been reassigned to Walton and is now running out of Station 1 as Haz Mat 323.
08/09 - The new firehouse for Station 1 has been completed and is now operational.
10/08 - Walton took delivery of a new 75' Pierce ladder truck for Quint 310.
04/08 - Walton has received a new Ford / McCoy Miller for Ambulance 314.
02/08 - A new
firehouse for Station 1 is planned with expected completion in the Spring of 2009.
