News/Updates:  

09/23 - A new Dodgle / PL Custom ambulance was received for Squad 72.

03/23 - Union placed into service a new Ford / Braun ambulance with Squad 71.

03/22 - Union placed into service a oair of new E-One pumper trucks with Engine 71 and Engine 72.

07/15 - A new Dodge / PL Custom ambulance has been placed into service with Squad 664.

05/12 - Union has received their second new ambulance this year.  The new Ford / Braun has gone into service as Squad 665.  The 2000 Braun previously assigned to Squad 665 is now Squad 663 and is a dedicated reserve,

03/12 - Union has placed into service their new International / Braun ambulance at Squad 664.  Union has also ordered a second Braun ambulance on a Ford chassis which will replace Squad 665. 

09/11 - Union currently has a new ambulance on order with Braun with delivery anticipated before the end of the year. The 2007 Ford / PL Custom previously assigned to Squad 664 has been retired.

12/10 - In 2000, the Union Fire Department and Union EMS joined to form the Union Emergency Services Alliance, however, each entity maintained a separate board of directors.  The Alliance has now been dissolved and the two organizations have been merged as the Union Fire Protection District.   

11/08 - Union took delivery of a new 109' Rosenbauer quint for Ladder 660.  This is the first ladder truck for the department.

10/07 - Union placed into service a new Rosenbauer pumper truck for E651.
