Fire Department of Bellevue - Dayton

The department was formed on July 1, 2002 as a result of a merger of the Bellevue and Dayton Fire Departments. The FDBD currently operates out of a single station and protects these riverfront communities east of Newport, KY. The "FDBD" name was deliberately chosen to honor the firefighters of FDNY after 9/11.

- This apparatus was refurbished by Summit Fire Apparatus in 2008, and previously assigned to Engine 205.

- This apparatus was refurbished by Summit Fire Apparatus in 2008, and subsequently assigned to Engine 201.

Medic 280 - 2013 Ford / Wheeled Coach (ALS Ambulance)
- The Wheeled Coach box was remounted on a Ford chassis in 2021 by Emergency Transport Associates.

News/Updates:
07/21 - FDBD placed into service with Medic 280 a new remount of the 2013 Ford / Wheeled Coach previously aasigned to Medic 280.
05/18 - The department received a new Rosenbauer pumper truck for Engine 201. The 2008 Summit refurb previously assigned to Engine 201 has been retired.
09/17 - The department placed into service a new Rosenbauer quint with Truck 210.
12/13 - The department received a new Ford / Wheeled Coach ambulance for Medic 280.
