This apparatus was a 1996 HME / Ferrara when bought new by the department, and was assigned to Engine 205. The apparatus was refurbished in 2008 by Summit and redesignated as Engine 201. The aluminum body was enlarged and new rescue-style compartments were added. A front bumper extension with hose storage and 1.5" discharge along with a 9,000lb Ramsey Quick mount were added to facilitate rescue responses. Also added were a Harrison 8KW generator, new warning lighting and 2 Extend-A-Lite telescoping flood lights. The original Ferrara apparatus is shown below and the refurbished Summit apparatus is shown above.
