News/Updates:
10/20 - Newport received a new Pierce Enforcer for Engine 901.
The 1996 Spartan / Ferrara was reassigned to reserve Engine 902.
11/18 - Newport placed into service a new Ford / Horton ambulance with Medic 982. With the new arrival, the 2006 Ford / Horton became the reserve ambulance - Medic 980.
09/17 - Newport received a new Pierce pumper truck for Engine 903. The previous Engine 903 has been relocated to Station 1 as Engine 901.
08/15 - Newport placed into service a new Ford / Horton ambulance with Medic 981.
03/11 - Newport has purchased a 1999 Freightliner / Medic Master from Fort Thomas to replace the 1994 International / E-One assigned to Medic 981.
01/11 - Newport as received a sizable federal grant that will facilitate the purchase of a new ladder truck to replace the 1989 Grumman currently assigned to Ladder 912. The new truck is an E-One demonstrator built on a Cyclone II chassis. The new truck should be in service sometime in April.
