In 1935 the town of Clifton was annexed into the City of Newport. At that time Newport established a new fire company to serve the town. The station is referred to as South Newport and is still in service today in the same location.

- This apparatus was subsequently assigned to Engine 901
- It is currently the reserve apparatus and is assigned to Engine 902

Engine 3 - 1952 Mack (750 GPM / 200 Gallon Tank)
