This agency is responsible for emergency preparedness and disaster response in Boone County. BCEM also operates the Hazardous Incident Response Team (HIRT) which responds to Haz-Mat incidents county-wide. Aside from the three primary response vehicles shown below, the agency also operates several trailers dedicated to such functions as incident command, decontamination and mass casualty response.

06/10 - A new Freightliner / Summit has been received and is running out of Hebron as Haz Mat 373. The
previous Haz Mat 373 has been reassigned to Walton and is now running as Haz Mat 323.
